I issue VAT receipts and can provide documentation relating to my tax status in Portugal.

Translations

I charge 0,10 USD (0.09 EUR, 0.08 GBP, 0.45 BRL)  per word for translations and 0.05 USD (0.045 EUR, 0.04 GBP, 0.225 BRL) per word for proofreading. If you can open the document in Microsoft Word you can count the words yourself and work out roughly what the quote will be.

There are surcharges for the following:

Urgent translation 50%

Working on public holidays 50%

For texts of an academic, legal, medical or technical nature 50%.

Certified translations by a Notary in Portugal 75 EUR.

Interpreting

I charge 75 USD (70 EUR, 60 GBP, 350 BRL) per hour for consecutive, whispered and simultaneous interpreting.
